Garnier Moisture Bomb Tissue Mask Revitalizing Mask

Hello again,

Hope you all have had a great weekend and a great start to your February. Today I’m sharing my views on the Garnier Moisture Bomb Tissue Mask. There are 6 types currently for sale in Canada: the Re-Balancing Mask for Normal to Combination skin (green packaging), the Revitalizing Mask for Dehydrated Skin (blue packaging), the Soothing Mask for Dry and Sensitive Skin (pink packaging), The Lavender mask (purple packaging) , the Sakura mask (also a pink package) and the Charcoal mask in a Grey/black package. I did buy this mask before my No Buy began, but I have so many masks that I just hadn’t gotten around to using it yet.

From Garnier
“Moisture Bomb Tissue Masks are our super-hydrating revitalizing masks for dehydrated skin. Truly innovative, its ultra-thin tissue is infused with a super-hydrating serum. Unmask smoother, bouncier, healthier looking skin in just 15 minutes. Applied to the face, it acts like a hydration wrap that continuously diffuses all the effectiveness of the serum intensely hydrating your skin. Its amazing freshness quenches and comforts skin instantly, for a pure moment of absolute pampering.”

POMEGRANATE REVITALISING MASK  –Enriched with pomegranate extract, hyaluronic acid, and plant serum, it intensely rehydrates skin, reduces the look of fine lines, and revives radiance

REVIEW  First before the masks can be used, you will need to tear open the top of the packaging, unfold the Sheet Mask, apply the mask to your skin with the white tissue side on your skin and then peel the blue film on the other side (not sure why that’s there ??) (See photo below for blue film) It says to leave on your skin for roughly 15mins but I always tend to leave my masks on longer, 30-45 minutes. and because I want the product to do the most work and I don’t want to have to remove the extra product, I always apply my masks at night.

What I love about these masks, as they are different to other sheet masks that I’ve used in the sense that, on application, they don’t drip with excess product and they don’t slide around on your face. My skin felt great afterward. The product absorbs in really well. I did actually feel like my skin was still moisturized even after the product had completely dried! This was amazing for me. The other big shocker no oily T zone! my skin is combination and sensitive and this did not burn, break me out or make my skin more oily in spots. (A bit of a disclaimer here I used this about a week ago, didn’t want to post until I was sure I wasn’t going to react).

Each mask is enriched with Hyaluronic Acid (helps skin lock in moisture and fight against ageing), hydrating plant extract and Pomegranate ( regenerates the skin, reduction of wrinkles & fine lines as well as prevents hyperpigmentation).

Over all I am going to give these masks a 8/10. While I really did love how these feel at almost $4 per mask normal price, they are much more expensive than my normal masks. I think this will be more of a treat for me once I am done my no buy, I will probably only buy these on sale. I would also be more inclined to buy these again if they were cruelty-free.

Overall I would say honestly if you have a couple of dollars extra in your budget and want a good facemask that will leave your skin feeling nice I recomened giving these a try.

Bottom Line , Would I re-buy: yes as a treat.

Do you have any products you like, but will only buy as a treat?
